Hyundai has launched a hub page featuring the new series of electric, hybrid and plugin-hybrid cars in 2016. As an Art Director I was asked to create a design language that includes imagery, transitions, illustrations and animations. I consider the project one of my favorites since the process in a highly professional team with great dynamics enabled me to gain new insights into the automotive industry and its aesthetics. The page contains comprehensive information about technical details, videos, a comparison and last but not least a model matching tool that helps the potential customer to find a perfect fit of a car to his personality and lifestyle. Micro animations enhance the experience while going through the process of browsing and matching the products. The whole approach was to use an emotional look & feel to reduce abstract technical communication and make facts about E-mobility more tangible.
