While working at the design agency "Elemental 8" in downtown San José, California, I participated in designing the proton therapy treatment room - manufactured by Varian. The technical setup and its components were specified in advance. Our vision was to create a patient-friendly, warm atmosphere and consequently a better user experience. Emotion and atmosphere is mainly transported via ambient lighting and a premium wooden interior paired with clean shapes of medical equipment.
