As part of a small but very experienced pitch team, I was able to rethink the future business of a medium sized hidden champion in the industry of IoT. Möhlenhoff is a traditional manufacturer of sensory components and other parts built inside the majority of IoT devices all over the world. As a white label manufacturer Möhlenhoff holds a market share of up to 60% internationally.
This expertise and deep technological knowledge is a feature that Möhlenhoff plans to take a advantage of by orienting itself more towards a B2C rather than pure B2B focus. We were asked to create a vision of how a digital consumer facing platform could look like, including potential features and a state of the art customer experience. After days of brainstorming, we came up with a more holistic approach and designed user stories to invision the potential of Möhlenhoff's impact on a consumer's life and shared zoom ins to digital mockups in order to highlight a branded user experience - seamlessly embedded into the personal or professional lives of people.
